Four producers were chosen to rework Larry Heads 1995 release Dance 2000. Out through Airtight Recordings sometime in march.

This is the best record I’ve heard in a long long time. I knew it would be something special, but I never thought it be this good.

The spaniards behind Hivern Disc might be the most interesting thing happening in the electronic scene right now. The label is created by Stainboy and John Talabot in Barcelona, and they’re setting the pace well. Here’s their first release of 2012, from a guy called Kresy - and you can easily hear he fits right in with the guys at Hivern. This song is straight up crushing, filled with energy and thick base lines. You should see this song on the upcoming EP Lords Of Percussion, set to be released 30th of january.

I’m breathless. Give it exactly 1 minute and 17 seconds, and you’ll understand.

Disco is a delicate ingredient to add, but Dead Rose Music Company is really showing himself to be one of the heralds in the genre - adding just enough of everything. Watch out for a crushing releases from him sometime this march.

Ohh my, what a tune this one is - and you get to enjoy it for 15 minutes! Pachanga Boys is a side project of the Cologne native house master Superpitcher and the mexican dj Rebolledo, and right before christmas they released their second limited EP Girlcatcher.
If you were one of the first lucky 300 people to get your hands on it, there was apparently a little present inside, a special handmade tool made to lure and catch girls.
Dan Lissvik tells stories about the shaping Gothenburg’s music scene, and about the recent desicion to part with Studio and Information. They will be missed.

Guy Furious is really serious, and really ambitious. If you might’ve overdosed on AraabMuzik and The Weeknd, here’s a new source of classy RnB music. Download his EP Pillow Talk for free.
Highly recommended!
“Let’s put it this way, If I was to win a grammy, I’d love if it were for the best RnB or pop-genre”

Sorry for not posting shit. But christmas came and now I’ve got exams coming up, and to be honest I haven’t really found anything worth posting lately. One of the releases I’ve been looking forward to is John Talabots coming full length record, ƒin. This colab between two of spains absolute finest, Pional and John Talabot is the first taste we’ve gotten from it, and it sounds fantastic! ƒin is coming out 6th of february through Permanent Vacation.
