There is way too much good music coming at us right now. So much I feel insufficient, it’s hard to share everything right now. That’s why I’m taking the easy route, posting some of it at the same time.
First off we have a song from Purity Rings coming split with Braids, Belispeak. Purity Ring is definitely one of the bands I’m looking forward most. They’ve really created peculiar sound, distancing themselves from most other electronic acts today. This song is as addictive as Lofticries was when it came. The lyrics are kinda odd and scary “Drill holes in my eyelids so I can see you when I sleep”
Wise Blood sure delivered on the newly released record, These Wings. Even though the record is only 17 minutes long, it lived up to all expectations I had on it, which were super high. This will be on repeat for a while to come.
Wise Blood - Darlin’ You’re Sweet
The next two songs is from Jamie xx 119 minutes long BBC essential mix. The first song, Fortune Favors The Brave by Grimm Limbo, immediately caught my ear - the raw and relentless pace and power of this song won’t even let you take a breath. Download his EP, Unseen, for a pay your own price over at his Bandcamp.
Grimm Limbo - Fortune Favors The Brave
Last but not least you have a chilled and soothed house track from Jean Jacques Smoothie. Make yourself comfortable and stretch out.
Feeling tired? Sad? Uninspired? Do you dislike your job? Have you lost an awful lot of money very quickly? Do you hate dictatorship? Well, here you have your temporary remedy.

I remember this song from an old swedish ski movie called Free Radicals. I’m glad I happened to stumble upon it, brings back good old memories from snow pummeling your face as you’re going way too fast through the woods.
Here’s Blood Diamonds’ B-side track, “Move the Stars” in addition to his previous release of the A-side track “Grins”. The track is a rather uplifting electronic gem with pitch-shifted vocals and big banging drum beats—you can almost hear this track scoring a feel-good montage in a cinematic film. You can grab “Move the Stars” below, while both tracks are available via Transparent Records.

Once again, here’s the russian up-and-comer, Nocow, with a nice and dark new track, The Man Behind The Suit.

Brandon Biondo is keeping himself busy, releasing his second WALSH EP this year, Don’t Want 2 Fall in Luv. This won’t disappoint anyone who likes his earlier works, maybe will with folks who enjoy a nice album cover, but the raddest thing about this new release is when he goes all Prince Walshy on us with the song Highwalker. Get the new EP for a pay your own price at his Bandcamp.

What do you call this kind of music? It’s not dubstep in the ordinary sense, I can’t stand that sort of music. I’ve heard post-dubstep, future garage etc. - it’s too hard to label music. Anyway, I’m gonna share some different works with you. The UK scene is exploding with fantastic artists right now, and I’m really impressed with this sort of sound they’re bringing us. It’s so gentle and pulsating, yet not soft or boring. Hopefully we’ll see a lot more from these guys in the near future.

I’m so overwhelmed. There is just so much, for all of us, and it never ends. Sometimes I don’t know if it’s real or not, sometimes I even forget how lucky we are, and sometimes a moment of perfect clarity comes before me - when I really can appreciate how great all of this is. Embrace the search, and don’t be surprised when your path crosses something of actual beauty.
