I discovered John Robers a couple of weeks ago, and I can’t get enough of last years record Glass Eights, which I’ve totally missed out on, until now. What you get is a relaxed journey in to his emotional and slow building deep house world - perfect for those moments when you just want to focus on something else than just the music. The record is filled with complex layers, that slowly builds and smears you in - and the songs somehow melt together to one unit rather than separate songs. Cook, ride the bus, walk home, do whatever you’d like while listening to this piece.
